This spring, Brixton Youth Theatre will be running a week of amazing fun, with our Holiday Activities and Food drama/performing arts project, for children and young people based in and around Brixton.

11am – 3pm

Monday 14 April to Friday 18 April

St Vincents Brixton – Talma Road, Brixton London SW2 1AS

The project will enable participants to explore their health and well-being in a safe, fun and supportive environment.

We will provide a popular mix of fantastic fun-filled drama/ performing arts activities,including; acting, improvisation, devising theatre, film, Tai Chi, script work, music, dancing, and drawing/crafts. Young people will also be provided with a fantastic free nutritious and healthy lunch.

Through the project, we aim to get children and young people to

  • Eat more healthily and be more active over the school summer holidays
  • Develop resilience, character, and well-being by engaging in enriching activities
  • Be safe and not be socially isolated, make new friends, and develop positive relationships
  • Give them greater knowledge of health and nutrition
